The 2 star Hostal Residentia Eolo is situated on the Plaza Ingeniero Gabriel Roca, at the centre of the exclusive
resort of Puerto Pollensa on the north west coast of Majorca. The hotel is approximately 60km north of the capital
Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport, and a few steps from both the wide sandy resort beach and picturesque
Puerto Pollensa marina. Built in 1958 and fully refurbished during the winter of 1993, at which time it was awarded the prestigious "Establecimientos Modernizados" award in recognition of its continued improvement of facilities and services, the small family owned Hotel Eolo has a total of 50 guest rooms, including 40 standard twin rooms and a further 10 singles, which are built over 4 floors overlooking the magnificent Bay of Pollensa. In total only eight of the guest rooms at the hotel are air conditioned, however all rooms are centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have sea views. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, along with a luggage room for late departures, a television lounge and restaurant-pizzeria which serves dishes based on the Mediterranean diet, mixing Italian cuisine with the peculiarity of Mallorcan food.
